Josephine Bugat Studio

In addition to being a potter, I am also active as an artist. I still mainly work in clay, but in my artistic creation I am also open to experimenting with other materials.

My creations constantly take me into a borderland between the ugly and disgusting and the beautiful and cute. My inspiration is therefore often drawn from the different states of the body, often at odds with the psyche. I experiment with different surfaces, in collaboration with the abstract form in my sculptures.
