The ceramics are made by me, Josephine Bugat. I am a professional ceramist and the founder of Flaxen Keramik.
I moved to Stockholm from Denmark in 2017 to study art and now live permanently in Stockholm.
I have been working with ceramics since 2019, and in 2025 I completed my 2-year education in ceramics at Vårdinge Folkhögskola.
My workshop is located in Flaxenvik, just outside Åkersberga, hence the name Flaxen Keramik.
Taking care of nature and the environment is always a priority.
I work with as much natural recycled material as possible and as little material as possible is wasted. All clay is recycled and glaze residue (and other potentially environmentally hazardous residue) is sent to the recycling center.
You can pay with most debit or credit cards in the webshop.
Payments are handled by Stripe.

Some of the items I sell were made before I created Flaxen Keramik. Therefore, instead of Flaxen or Flaxen ceramics, the ceramics may sometimes be signed J.bugat, which is my own signature.
